Winston's

HIS LIBRARY AT SEA

The bow dining room is called “Winston's” — a tribute to Churchill's love of reading, hence the book wallpaper. We couldn't fit a real library, so this is our fun nod to it.

Inside, find a framed reproduction of his notorious doctor's note prescribing alcohol during prohibition, a photograph of Queen Elizabeth II aboard while still Princess Elizabeth, and authentic framed vintage alcohol advertisements from the 1940s and '50s.

Keep an eye out for the little bulldogs and vintage books on Churchill, sailing, and WWII along the way.

The wallpaper in Winston’s Bar is adorned with books, reflecting Winston Churchill’s deep love of reading and the inspiration he often found in spaces like this one.

Collect all 11 letters as you roam, put them in order, then tell your bartender the secret code to get a free glass of bubbles.

Aboard the Northwind, guests will discover a framed original prescription once written for Winston Churchill, famously calling for gin as part of his “treatment,” offering a fascinating glimpse into a time when spirits were considered just as medicinal as they were indulgent.

Inside Winston’s Bar, guests will also find authentic framed alcohol advertisements from the 1940s and 1950s, adding to the Northwind’s timeless atmosphere.
