The Main Corridor
A LEAD-IN TO A SPEAKEASY
Recognized as a classic worth preserving, the Northwind underwent careful restoration honoring her original craftsmanship — from intricate woodwork to her timeless layout — with modern upgrades quietly integrated behind the scenes.
The corridor to Winston's Bar, in brown and gold, was inspired by train cars and the art deco prohibition era — a fitting lead-in to a speakeasy. Watch for small bulldog figurines acting as bookends, a nod to Churchill's nickname.
Jackie O and Winston both loved paintings of sailboats; the vintage ship art throughout is drawn from real archives and diagrams.
The bulldog — a tribute to Churchill — woven throughout the décor.
