Entering the Helm, original nautical gauges and monitors surround you: the rudder-angle indicator, original helm and VHF radio, and a morse-code indicator likely dating to WWII.

Map drawers were stuffed full upon acquisition — we hope to use them as wallpaper designs and craft scrapbooks for guests. We found old photos, captains' journals, and notes from celebrity guests as we explored.

Cinematic legacy: the Northwind appeared in the 1979 film Ashanti with Michael Caine, and in the 2022 Netflix series Griselda. Be sure to take your photo at the Helm.
